# 🔍 Do I Have to Pay a Deductible for Standard Tenant Coverage?

This information applies to all Standard Tenant Coverage customers, including those who enrolled through NEO, Chexy, BuildingStack, or KOHO.

 **Yes** — if your claim is related to **Content coverage** (your personal belongings), there’s a **$500 deductible** applied **per coverage tier** under your Group Tenant insurance plan.

👉 How the deductible works:

The deductible is the amount you’re responsible for **before** your insurance kicks in. For example, if you make a claim for $1,200 worth of stolen or damaged items, $500 would be deducted, and the remaining **$700** would be eligible for reimbursement (as long as it’s approved under your policy).

 ✅ No deductible applies to:

* **Bodily Injury**
    
* **Property Damage**
    
* **Medical Payments**

So, if your claim doesn’t involve your belongings, **there’s no deductible — you’re covered with no extra out-of-pocket cost.** 🙌
