# How Do I Set My Beneficiaries for RBC Term Life?

For the **Canadian RBC Term Life insurance product**, the **default beneficiary** is set to the **estate** to streamline the online purchase process.

 **How to Change Your Beneficiary:**

✔ **Step 1:** Wait for your policy to be issued.  
✔ **Step 2:** You will receive a **Change of Beneficiary Form** in the mail along with your policy package.  
✔ **Step 3:** Fill out and **sign the form** as required.  
✔ **Step 4:** Submit the completed form following the instructions provided.
