Fora Bill Payment Protection payments are processed through a **Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) agreement**. Because your bank may need some time to authorize your updated payment information, changes may not take effect immediately.

If you receive a **new or replacement card**, we recommend updating your payment information **before your next Bill Payment Protection payment is due**. This gives your bank time to authorize the change and can help prevent a missed or failed payment.
