# Troubleshooting Login & Password Reset Issues

Sometimes when you’re trying to log in — especially if it’s your **first time ever** or you haven’t opened your account in a while — you’ll get stuck in an annoying loop:

1. You enter your email ✔️
2. You’re told a password reset link was sent ✔️
3. You create a new password ✔️
4. And then…
**❗ “Invalid code. Please try again.”**

Super frustrating. The good news? The fix is quick.

### 💡 Why this happens

Your browser is basically holding onto old session info and refusing to let go (classic).
So when you click the password reset link, the page opens… but your browser is like,
“Hmm nope, I don’t recognize this vibe.”

Result: **Invalid code.**

### ✨ The Fix (and it works 99% of the time\*\*)\*\*

Ask the customer to:

1. Open the Mylo login page: [https://mylo.gowalnut.com/login](https://mylo.gowalnut.com/login). French is available here: [https://mylo.gowalnut.com/login?locale=fr](https://mylo.gowalnut.com/login?locale=fr).
2. Open the password-reset email and **copy the reset link** — don’t tap or click it.
3. Open a **private/incognito browser window**:
    * Safari → *New Private Window*
    * Chrome → *New Incognito Window*
    * Edge → *New InPrivate Window*
4. **Paste** the link into the private window.
5. Set their new password again.

If the reset link still shows an error, clear Walnut website data and refresh:

* **Chrome or Edge:** Click the padlock/sliders icon beside the website address, choose **Cookies and site data**, select **Manage on-device site data**, delete entries containing **gowalnut**, and refresh.
* **Safari:** Go to **Safari > Settings > Privacy > Manage Website Data**, search for **gowalnut**, remove the entries, and refresh.

If you do not receive the reset email:

1. Check your junk or spam folder.
2. Confirm that you entered the email address used when the plan was created.
3. If the email address was corrected, request the reset using the corrected account email and provide that address when requesting assistance.
4. For code-based login, each login attempt sends a new code, so use the most recent code. The sending address is support@gowalnut.com.

If you are using the Mylo/Akko portal and the message still does not arrive, contact Akko directly at [contact+mylo@getakko.com](mailto:contact+mylo@getakko.com).

For login, password-reset, or device-registration problems on the Mylo/Akko portal at [https://app.mylo.x.getakko.com/login](https://app.mylo.x.getakko.com/login), contact Akko directly at [contact+mylo@getakko.com](mailto:contact+mylo@getakko.com). This includes cases where no password was created or no reset email or SMS is received.

If you are trying to access the regular Mylo account, use the email address associated with the plan at [https://mylo.gowalnut.com/login](https://mylo.gowalnut.com/login). If you do not know which email address is associated with the account, confirm the account email before requesting assistance.

That’s it. Fresh browser = fresh vibes = working reset link.
