# What is considered a Critical Illness under TELUS Bill Payment Protection?

###### What is a Critical Illness?

If you have an active **TELUS Bill Payment Protection** plan, you may be eligible for benefits if you are diagnosed with one of the covered critical illnesses after your coverage becomes effective and all policy requirements are met.

A diagnosis alone does not automatically qualify for benefits. Claims are reviewed based on the terms of the Certificate of Insurance.
