# What’s Covered with Travel Insurance from TELUS or Koodo?

When you buy travel insurance through **TELUS** or **Koodo**, your coverage is provided by **TuGo**, a trusted Canadian travel insurer. You’ll get access to a range of base plans with optional add-ons to customize your protection based on how you travel.



######  ✅ Base Coverage Options

Here’s what you can choose from when building your plan:

* **Emergency Medical (Worldwide)**
    Covers unexpected medical expenses while you're travelling, including hospitalization, prescriptions, air ambulance, emergency dental and more.
    
* **Trip Cancellation & Interruption**
    Reimburses you for non-refundable expenses if you have to cancel or cut your trip short due to a covered event (e.g. illness, injury, family emergency).
    
* **Trip Cancellation (Only)**
    Protection if you need to cancel before departure — no interruption coverage included.
    
* **Baggage**
    Covers loss, damage, or theft of your luggage and personal items while travelling.
    
* **Inclusive Package**
    A bundle that includes Emergency Medical, Trip Cancellation/Interruption, and Baggage coverage all in one.

💡 These are the core options offered by TELUS and Koodo, giving you the flexibility to select what makes the most sense for your trip.



 **Optional Add-Ons (After Purchase)**  
These additional coverages aren’t available at checkout — but you can still add them! Once you’ve purchased your base travel insurance plan, you’ll need to contact **TuGo directly** to request any of the following add-ons:

* Accidental Death & Dismemberment
    
* Rental Car Protection
    
* Sports & Activities Coverage
    
* Additional Coverage Options
