# ✈️ Who Can Sign Up for Travel Insurance with KOHO?

Travel insurance through KOHO is available, but there are a few eligibility rules you should know!

### 🛡 To unlock Travel Insurance, you must:

* Be a **KOHO member on a paid plan** (Essential, Extra, or Everything).
    
* Be a **Canadian resident** (Permanent Resident or Citizen).
    
* Have your **trip start from Canada** to another country.
    ➔ *(Example: traveling from Canada to France = eligible; traveling from France to Italy = not eligible.)*
    
* **Not** be traveling against the advice of a doctor.
    
* **Not** having a **terminal diagnosis**.
    
* **Not** receiving or recommended for **palliative care**.
