How Long Do Benefits Last? Maximum Benefit Length for Koodo Bill Payment Protection
Here is a simple breakdown of how long each type of Koodo Bill Payment Protection benefit can pay out.
Involuntary Unemployment (Part A)
If you lose your job through no fault of your own, benefits pay until you are back to work, up to a max of 6 monthly bill payments.
Maximum: 6 months
Self-Employed Involuntary Unemployment (Part B)
Same benefit period as standard unemployment.
Maximum: 6 months
Critical Illness (Part C)
If you are diagnosed with a covered critical illness, benefits pay up to 6 monthly bill payments.
Maximum: 6 months
Disability (Part D)
If you cannot work due to a covered disability, benefits pay until you return to full-time work, up to 6 monthly bill payments.
Maximum: 6 months
Life and Dismemberment (Part E)
This benefit is not paid monthly. Instead, it is a one-time lump sum equal to the lesser of 6 times your monthly coverage limit, or your outstanding balance.
Equivalent to up to 6 months of coverage, paid all at once.
