TELUS Bill Payment Protection (BPP) is optional insurance that helps cover your TELUS mobile service bill for up to 6 months if you experience:

✅ Involuntary Job Loss
✅ Disability
✅ Critical Illness
✅ Life Coverage

📝 What’s Covered?

If you're enrolled and meet the conditions, TELUS BPP may cover your bill payments for a maximum of 6 months due to:

• Losing your job unexpectedly
• Becoming disabled and unable to work
• Being diagnosed with a critical illness
• Passing away (life coverage ensures payments are taken care of for your family)

🧾 Who Can Enroll?

To sign up, you must be:

• A TELUS account holder in good standing
• A Canadian resident
• At least 18 years old

You will receive an email from TELUS with an invitation to enroll. The enrollment link is valid for 90 days from the original marketing email. If the link is more than 90 days old, TELUS cannot resend it. If you started but did not finish your application, select the enrollment link in that email to start over. Enrollment is by invitation only;

🧾 How Do I Use the Coverage?

Bill Payment Protection does not automatically apply to a bill when you purchase the plan. If you experience a covered event, you must file a claim after satisfying the applicable eligibility requirements and waiting period. For example, involuntary job-loss coverage requires that you are employed for at least 25 hours per week, are not collecting other benefits, and complete a 30-day waiting period before filing a claim. Short-term disability or being off work does not qualify for this job-loss coverage.
