πŸ“ˆ How Do I Upgrade My Mylo Plan?

Thinking about switching your Mylo plan or increasing your coverage? Totally fair. Here’s how it works πŸ‘‡

🧠 First β€” What Is the Mylo Service Membership?

The Mylo Service Membership is not insurance and it does not reimburse you for loss or damage.

It’s a prepaid service membership that gives you access to:

  • Device diagnostics
  • Repair coordination
  • Technical support
  • Performance optimization
  • Service request benefits (subject to plan limits)

You’re paying for access to service support β€” not reimbursement like a traditional insurance policy or extended warranty.

πŸ“Š What Plans Are Available?

There are two main membership options:

πŸ“± Single Phone Protection

Covers prepaid services for one smartphone.

πŸ πŸ“± Phone & Home Bundle

Covers one smartphone plus up to 10 additional eligible devices, such as:

  • Tablets
  • Laptops
  • Smartwatches
  • Smart home devices

Each plan has its own service limits and value caps.

⏳ What Term Options Are Available?

When enrolling, you may choose between:

πŸ—“ Monthly Term

  • Billed month-to-month
  • Can be cancelled at any time
  • Coverage remains active as long as payments are up to date

πŸ“… 18-Month Term

  • Fixed 18-month commitment
  • Billed according to your selected payment schedule
  • Early cancellation does not automatically remove remaining payment obligations

πŸ” Can I Upgrade My Plan?

There isn’t a one-click β€œupgrade” button.

If you’d like to switch plans (for example, from Single Phone to the Phone & Home Bundle), you would:

  • Review your current term (Monthly or 18-Month)
  • Cancel your current membership (if applicable)
  • Enroll in the new plan you prefer

It works more like switching subscriptions than modifying coverage inside the same membership.

⚠️ Important Things to Know Before Switching

πŸ“Œ 10-Day Refund Window

If you cancel within the first 10 days of enrollment, you may be eligible for a full refund (as outlined in the membership terms).

If you cancel after the 10-day refund period:

  • Membership fees already charged are non-refundable
  • If you selected an 18-month term, cancelling early does not remove your obligation for the remaining payments under that term

πŸ“… Waiting Periods

If you register new devices under a new membership, a 30-day waiting period may apply unless activation is completed right away during registration.

❌ How Do I Cancel My Current Membership?

You can cancel your membership by logging into your Mylo account here:

Once logged in:
