What Happens if My MYLO Device Protection Payment Fails?

If your recurring MYLO Device Protection payment can't be processed, don't worry — we'll automatically try again before your coverage is cancelled.

What happens after a failed payment?

If your payment fails:

  • We'll automatically retry your payment once per day for up to 3 days.
  • Your coverage remains active while these payment attempts are taking place.
  • You'll also receive an email notification letting you know your payment didn't go through and that action is required.
  • If a payment is successfully processed during the retry period, your coverage will continue without interruption.

What does the email say?

The email explains that your monthly payment couldn't be processed and that your coverage is still active for now. It also lets you know that:

  • We'll automatically retry your payment once a day for the next 2 days.
  • If payment still can't be collected after the final retry, your MYLO Device Protection plan will be cancelled.
  • You should sign in to your account and review your payment information as soon as possible.

The email also lists the most common reasons a payment may fail, including:

  • Your card has expired.
  • You've received a replacement card with a new card number.
  • There aren't enough funds available.

Didn't receive the email? Payment notifications are sent from hello@gowalnut.com. If you don't see the email in your inbox, be sure to check your Junk or Spam folder. If you still can't find it, add hello@gowalnut.com to your safe sender list to help ensure future emails are delivered.

What if all payment attempts fail?

If your payment is still unsuccessful after the third attempt:

  • Your MYLO Device Protection plan will be automatically cancelled.
  • Coverage for all devices on your plan will end.
  • Your previous plan cannot be reinstated.

If you still want Device Protection, you'll need to purchase a new MYLO Device Protection plan

Important: If your payment is still unsuccessful after the third payment attempt, your MYLO Device Protection plan will be automatically cancelled and cannot be reinstated. You'll need to purchase a new plan to regain coverage.

How can I prevent my plan from being cancelled?
