I Set the Wrong Start Date for My Tenant Coverage — What Should I Do?

FIf you're a Neo, BuildingStack, or Chexy customer and noticed that your standard tenant insurance has the wrong start date, here’s how to fix it:

🗓️ Start Dates Cannot Be Edited
Once your policy has been purchased, the start date can’t be changed. Even if your coverage hasn’t kicked in yet, the system doesn’t allow us to modify the date.

✅ What You Can Do Instead:

Cancel your current policy

Repurchase the plan with the correct start date

Contact us so we can reverse the charge for your original plan

💡 Note: The canceled plan will remain active until your next billing date, so you have a couple of options:

Wait until your renewal date to purchase a new plan

Or, if you need coverage immediately, take out a new plan using a different email address
