I Set the Wrong Start Date for My Tenant Coverage — What Should I Do?

🗓️ Start Dates Cannot Be Edited


Once your policy is purchased, the start date can’t be changed — even if coverage hasn’t started yet.



What You Can Do Instead


If your start date is in the future:


  • Cancel your policy


  • Repurchase with the correct start date

💡 No payment comes out until the effective date, so there’s no issue starting fresh.


If your coverage is already active:


  • Please wait until your renewal date to purchase a new plan after you cancel your old plan.


💡 Note: The cancelled plan will remain active until your next billing date, so you have a couple of options:

  • If you need coverage immediately, take out a new plan using a different email address.
