Why was my Standard Tenant Insurance Cancelled?

We understand how frustrating it can be to find out that your tenant insurance has been cancelled. We're here to help clarify what may have happened and what your next steps can be.

Standard tenant coverage may be cancelled if:

You requested to cancel your coverage, or

A payment failed, and the retry was unsuccessful. Our system automatically retries the payment on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th day after the initial failed attempt. If the payment is still unsuccessful after the third attempt on the 7th day, the policy is cancelled.

To prevent this, please ensure your banking information is up to date and that there are sufficient funds in the account during the retry period.

Even if your policy is cancelled, it will remain active until your next billing date. Once that date passes, you’ll be able to take out a new policy if you’d like to restart your coverage.

If you have any questions or need help getting set back up, don’t hesitate to reach out. We're here for you.
