Roadside Assistance covers eligible passenger vehicles.

Vehicles that are not eligible

The following types of vehicles are not eligible for Roadside Assistance:

  • Motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds
  • Recreational vehicles (RVs) and motorhomes
  • Trailers and campers
  • All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and snowmobiles
  • Buses and other passenger-transport vehicles
  • Heavy-duty trucks and specialized vehicles
  • Farm, construction, and industrial vehicles

What about trucks and vans?

Pickup trucks and vans may be eligible. For pickup trucks, the vehicle must not exceed the 1.5-ton capacity limit.
For Wealthsimple Roadside Assistance, the vehicle must also be used for personal rather than commercial purposes. Vehicles used for commercial purposes, such as transporting passengers or goods for payment or as part of a business, are not eligible for Wealthsimple Roadside Assistance.
If you're unsure about your vehicle's classification or capacity, check your vehicle information or owner's manual before enrolling.
