What’s Included in Borrowell Tenant Insurance?
Borrowell Tenant Insurance is still considered standard tenant insurance coverage — however, the coverage options, limits, deductibles, and endorsements may differ from other tenant insurance programs.

Core Coverage
Personal Liability
Includes up to $1M or $2M in personal liability coverage, depending on the plan selected.
This coverage may help protect you if you’re found legally responsible for accidental bodily injury to others or accidental damage to someone else’s property.
Medical bills if someone gets hurt at your place
Includes up to $10K for eligible voluntary medical payments.
Accidental Damage Payments
Includes up to $1K for certain accidental damage to someone else’s property, even in situations where you may not be legally liable.
Stuff That’s Also Covered (aka Endorsements):
🛋 Your belongings (personal property): Available in $5K, $10K, or $20K coverage options (depending on the plan selected), with a $500 deductible
🏨 Additional living expenses: Up to $4K or 20% of your personal property limit (whichever is greater) if you temporarily can’t live in your rental due to a covered loss
🌎 Your belongings away from home: Personal property coverage may also apply to belongings temporarily away from your rental unit, anywhere in the world (subject to policy limits, conditions, and
exclusions)
🐶 Pet-related liability (including certain pet-related damage or bites): Up to $100K
🧼 Biohazard clean-up: Up to $2K

- Injuries to you or members of your household
- Vehicles, pets themselves, or cash or ID replacement
- Roommate belongings (unless they are family members living in the same unit)
- Voluntary moves
- Renovations not tied to a loss (like upgrades)
- Repairs due to excluded perils (flood, mold, etc...)
