Why Can’t I Select Today as My Tenant Insurance Start Date?

If you're purchasing tenant insurance and can't select today's date as your coverage start date, this is expected.

We do not offer same-day tenant insurance coverage.

When Can My Coverage Start?

The earliest your tenant insurance coverage can begin is the following day.

This applies to:

• Standard tenant insurance
• Custom tenant insurance quotes

When selecting your effective date, choose a date at least one day after the date you're purchasing your coverage.

Planning Ahead?

If you're purchasing standard tenant insurance, you can select a start date up to 45 days in advance. If you need a start date more than 45 days away, you'll need to request a custom tenant insurance quote.
